Caregivers

You are a friend, trusted advisor, or counselor with empathy for the brokenhearted. You are called upon to walk with, support, and comfort those with the courage to trust you to help them face the horrors of what happened to them and to help them break through the lies and strategies developed for protection.

As one trusted to help them understand the distortion of love and unravel their complex trauma from abuse, unhealthy relationships, and the stress and anxiety accompanying the healing journey, you want to help them become the best version of themselves.

At the same time, it's your heart to give them an accurate image of the love of God as their healer and redeemer.

You see people like Jesus does, and you are ready to step out of your "wonderful life" and into the torment and chaos of traumatized lives. While you want to help, you may need additional tools, resources, or expressions to guide them along the healing path.

Knowing God's love, a healthy love for yourself and others, empathy, listening, understanding, and the capacity to connect the dots from complex trauma to learned behaviors of the vulnerable are critical before walking with someone through healing. Having the right tools can make all the difference as you walk beside these people, helping them become the best version of themselves.

Giving care and walking with the traumatized is grievous work, so taking care of yourself is essential for your overall well-being. Through Destined for Glory, we offer resources and tools for you to walk beside, understand, and guide the traumatized. Not only do we provide for you to help them, but also for your self-care.

You can have all the tools and resources we offer, but knowing how to use them is essential to make a difference in lives. That's where our experience and training can help. You understand that to help people get free and heal, learning from those who are redeemed can propel the journey.

You know that trauma destroys and Christ restores!
